London wanted to be in color today. 2018. My firs London wanted to be in color today. 2018. My first time in London and we spent two weeks roaming the city, but really we were in England for the Chelsea flower show. I have lots of images of flowers and foliage but these urban shots are some of my favorites from that time. I spent the most money I have ever spent traveling on that trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. #london #photos #canon

I am not a landscape photographer or a sky photographer but I love the pixels and blurs of light the stars make with long exposures. Being in a city, you never get to see so many of them at once. #blackandwhiteart #photography
Because Instagram crops in weird ways, it is hard Because Instagram crops in weird ways, it is hard to show images as they are intended so I am going to play around with these grids for creative flair and to make these landscapes fill the screen a bit more which is much more pleasing to my old eyes anyway. More from Winthrop. Sometimes it is hard to choose between color and black and white with these shots. There is so much texture that bnw shows and yet there is also so much saturation of dusty rusty reds. I know I am supposed to stick to one but I just can’t. What do you prefer and why?

Now for something completely different. That one Now for something completely different. That one time in Winthrop, Wa when there were thunderstorms and meteor showers. I spent the days in a desert and nights staying up late trying to capture the lightning and falling stars. I am going through these photos now and pulling some for black and whites - for my next post.
