Pretty thrilled with how this design turned out. I Pretty thrilled with how this design turned out. I have been working with @elenimandell since November but have been a fan for years. If you don’t know who she is PLEASE go consume her archive of incredible music- it is truly a crime she isn’t more well known but such is the state of the music industry these days. Pop culture favors who can manipulate the algorithm vs who is truly talented. It is up to us to shift the spotlight to those who are more deserving of recognition. And to be working with her has been such a pleasure. She is the real deal. A genuine human who knows what she wants, has an amazing almost 30 year career and we just click in so many ways (another thing I love about my clients) which inspires me to think outside the box. I am a cheerleader for all my clients (and they all know it) so it is no surprise I would be for her as well. This is a screen-printed limited edition tour poster I designed, inspired by her song “Lemon Tree” off her new album “Tailspin”, with such pretty guitar picking and harmonies by @mr.milojones. It is a sweet song about her daughter and the fleeting moments that define a child’s personality - love this song so much. A snapshot of time well spent and observed. Go check her out, she will be at @thetripledoor on June 17th, come out to her show. Say hello and break up that boring routine you have going for yourself. I offer free hugs and thanks. I hope to see you there and as a last note, don’t be afraid to cheer on what you want to see more of in the world. Social media can be so cold but it doesn’t have to be, there are still a lot of things and people worth celebrating if you are willing to share and I make a point of sharing others accomplishments far more than my own. A Peruvian Apple cactus spotted on our walk with several blooms waiting to be pollinated- a fleeting site because the blooms only last until morning. In some regions, blooming “waves” have been observed to synchronize with the full moon so how lucky are we to be here during a full moon weekend. 🌝

Handsome lil grandbaby. I have given up shooting Handsome lil grandbaby. I have given up shooting portraits for money but can’t help capturing some candids in my suburban life. Sometimes ordinary life is where the magic happens.
I can’t help it if I keep coming back to this subj I can’t help it if I keep coming back to this subject but I just got 2 of five rolls of 120 film from my time in New Orleans and this is just a taste of it. These Black Masking Indians are glorious and pretty. I see every stitch, feather, bead, history and minute it took to get to these moments and it humbles me.
